Our Background
Personal Profile
Marielle started working as a nurse in 2004 once she graduated from nursing school. She spend most of her years working as a nurse on the telemetry unit and decided to advance her career to becoming a nurse practitioner in 2010. She completed her graduate school studies in 2012 and started working in a primary care practice. She quickly realized that working in a primary care office was not the right place for her as she got sick of cycling through patients quickly and not being able to take time with each patient. She also had 3 small children and needed a job that gave her more flexibility. She went to work in long term care in 2015 and hasn't looked back since that time. She has done work in both psychiatry and primary care in both long term care and assisted living facilities over the past 9 years.
Marielle started working at Starting Line Wellness on a per diem basis 2 years ago and got the unique opportunity to take over the practice in September of 2024. She is really excited to be able to spend more time at the practice and provider more consistent, holistic care to the residents of Golden Pond.
